Cake
I went to the cake consultation a few weeks ago. I think we designed a pretty nice cake. As for the flavors….well she sent me home with a box that had 8 different kinds of cake, and 5 or 6 different fillings so we could mix and match ourselves. Everything was delicious, even the chocolate cake (and I usually don’t eat chocolate cake).I think we came to a decision on flavors…I have them written down somewhere. But like every layer is going to have the chocolate peanut-butter filling…because it’s amazing. I could just sit there with a bowl of it and eat it. And I think 2/3 layers will have the banana cake because it’s really good.
This is the closest picture I could find to our cake, she made a really crude drawing while I was there but she kept it. But basically it’s a 3 layer square cake, and it’s got the little swirly thing we’re using on the invites on the corners of it. White cake, chocolate gnash swirls, and perhaps some burgundy ribbon on the bottom of each layer. Delicious.
